Real Estate shares tumble
Real Estate stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index falling 78 points or 5.47% at 1347.48 at 13:53 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 11%), DLF Ltd (down 7.95%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 4.86%),Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 4.34%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 3.87%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Godrej Properties Ltd (down 2.45%), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 2.09%), and Omaxe Ltd (down 0.84%).
On the other hand, Sobha Ltd (up 4.98%), moved up.
At 13:53 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 544.92 or 1.75% at 30614.7.
The Nifty 50 index was down 127.6 points or 1.4% at 8984.3.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 79.27 points or 0.77% at 10214.48.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 50.12 points or 1.37% at 3599.41.
On BSE,1085 shares were trading in green, 1170 were trading in red and 185 were unchanged.
