Real Estate stocks edge lower
Real Estate stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index decreasing 19.13 points or 1.16% at 1626.36 at 13:52 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 4.95%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 4.84%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 4.13%),Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 3.12%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 1.3%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Sobha Ltd (down 0.91%), and DLF Ltd (down 0.6%).
On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 2.37%), Omaxe Ltd (up 2.12%), and Godrej Properties Ltd (up 0.08%) turned up.
At 13:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 141.39 or 0.45% at 31531.46.
The Nifty 50 index was up 42.2 points or 0.46% at 9239.6.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 63.52 points or 0.57% at 11031.67.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 14.15 points or 0.36% at 3885.64.
On BSE,1048 shares were trading in green, 1253 were trading in red and 168 were unchanged.
