Real Estate shares rise
Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 23.11 points or 1.02% at 2294.56 at 09:52 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, DLF Ltd (up 2.12%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 1.77%),Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 1.17%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.38%),Godrej Properties Ltd (up 0.35%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Sobha Ltd (up 0.29%), and Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 0.18%).
On the other hand, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 1.6%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 0.49%), and Omaxe Ltd (down 0.13%) moved lower.
At 09:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 29.96 or 0.07% at 40333.27.
The Nifty 50 index was down 6.05 points or 0.05% at 11823.35.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 36.07 points or 0.25% at 14477.08.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 11.87 points or 0.24% at 4995.02.
On BSE,763 shares were trading in green, 695 were trading in red and 82 were unchanged.
