Real Estate stocks slide
Real Estate stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index decreasing 22.89 points or 0.96% at 2372.75 at 13:52 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Sobha Ltd (down 2.16%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 2.14%),Godrej Properties Ltd (down 1.66%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 1.52%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 1.1%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were DLF Ltd (down 0.91%), and Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 0.59%).
On the other hand, Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 1.61%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.95%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.22%) turned up.
At 13:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 203.6 or 0.49% at 41362.3.
The Nifty 50 index was down 58.95 points or 0.48% at 12142.25.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 11.62 points or 0.08% at 14719.43.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 20.2 points or 0.4% at 5084.38.
On BSE,970 shares were trading in green, 1336 were trading in red and 144 were unchanged.
