Real Estate stocks rise
Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index increasing 32.43 points or 1.34% at 2458.73 at 09:49 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Godrej Properties Ltd (up 3.75%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 2.63%), Sobha Ltd (up 1.99%), DLF Ltd (up 1.08%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 0.98%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.38%), were the top gainers.
On the other hand, Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 0.83%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 0.79%), and Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 0.13%) turned lower.
At 09:49 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 111.38 or 0.27% at 40900.76.
The Nifty 50 index was up 35.05 points or 0.29% at 12014.7.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 100.71 points or 0.69% at 14646.22.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 45.88 points or 0.91% at 5074.42.
On BSE,1051 shares were trading in green, 433 were trading in red and 61 were unchanged.
