Real Estate shares gain

Real Estate stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 22.73 points or 0.9% at 2539 at 09:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 4.18%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 2.08%),Godrej Properties Ltd (up 1.54%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.97%),Omaxe Ltd (up 0.39%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were DLF Ltd (up 0.36%), and Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 0.25%).

On the other hand, Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 0.4%), and Sobha Ltd (down 0.03%) moved lower.

At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 169.69 or 0.41% at 41443.5.

 

The Nifty 50 index was down 51.45 points or 0.42% at 12196.8.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 44.68 points or 0.3% at 14890.64.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 20.26 points or 0.4% at 5124.2.

On BSE,774 shares were trading in green, 772 were trading in red and 78 were unchanged.
