Real Estate stocks soar
Real Estate stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index increasing 54.55 points or 2.66% at 2105.96 at 09:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Sobha Ltd (up 5.24%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 4.95%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 3.76%),Godrej Properties Ltd (up 3.45%),DLF Ltd (up 2.28%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 2.27%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 2.06%), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 1.15%), Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.53%), and Omaxe Ltd (up 0.41%).
At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 158.3 or 0.39% at 40089.93.
The Nifty 50 index was down 48.25 points or 0.4% at 11868.95.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 23.6 points or 0.17% at 13545.64.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 1.32 points or 0.03% at 4644.88.
On BSE,808 shares were trading in green, 631 were trading in red and 74 were unchanged.
