Riga Sugar Company standalone net profit declines 34.49% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 49.35% to Rs 31.21 crore

Net profit of Riga Sugar Company declined 34.49% to Rs 2.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 4.32 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 49.35% to Rs 31.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 61.62 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 20.86 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against net loss of Rs 4.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales declined 44.22% to Rs 101.51 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 181.99 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
