Birla Corporation notched up volume of 1.21 lakh shares, a 35.22-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock surged 5.37% at Rs 1,018.50.
TI Financial Holdings saw volume of 12.18 lakh shares, a 32.34-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 38,000 shares. The stock jumped 5.11% at Rs 610.
