Balkrishna Industries clocked volume of 2.54 lakh shares by 13:49 IST on BSE, a 64.65-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock lost 1.11% at Rs 308.
KSK Energy Ventures notched up volume of 33.54 lakh shares, a 35.23-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 95,000 shares. The stock lost 0.79% at Rs 63.05.
Persistent Systems saw volume of 1.15 lakh shares, a 28.16-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock lost 0.54% at Rs 992.
Havells India clocked volume of 78,000 shares, a 6.73-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 12,000 shares. The stock surged 5.01% to Rs 782.30 after net profit rose 28.32% to Rs 121.47 crore on 12.75% growth in total income to Rs 1195.10 crore in Q3 December 2013 over Q3 December 2012. The Q3 result was announced during trading hours today, 29 January 2014.
Idea Cellular saw volume of 19.23 lakh shares, a 4.09-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 4.70 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.39% at Rs 139.80.
