Volumes jump at Sheela Foam counter

Whirlpool of India, Vinyl Chemicals (India), Varun Beverages and IFCI are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE at 14:17 IST today, 21 December 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 5.37 points or 0.02% at 33,772.01.

Sheela Foam clocked volume of 50,000 shares, a 96.06-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock fell 0.56% at Rs 1,695.

Whirlpool of India notched up volume of 1.01 lakh shares, a 26.03-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock rose 0.67% at Rs 1,559.85.

Vinyl Chemicals (India) saw volume of 5.65 lakh shares, a 19.58-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 29,000 shares. The stock surged 19.14% at Rs 103.35.

 

Varun Beverages clocked volume of 1.12 lakh shares, a 17.99-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 6,000 shares. The stock spurted 8.47% at Rs 580.50.

IFCI saw volume of 1.04 crore shares, a 17.79-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 5.87 lakh shares. The stock jumped 24.06% at Rs 29.65.
