Zee Entertainment Enterprises consolidated net profit rises 568.47% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 0.40% to Rs 1527.95 crore

Net profit of Zee Entertainment Enterprises rose 568.47% to Rs 1514.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 226.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 0.40% to Rs 1527.95 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1521.84 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 169.56% to Rs 2220.46 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 823.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 10.69% to Rs 6434.13 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 5812.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
