West Bengal governor-designate Keshari Nath Tripathi arrived here Wednesday. He would be sworn in Thursday.
Tripathi, who arrived from Uttar Pradesh, was received with bouquets at the Howrah station by state Education and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Partha Chatterjee and Finance Minister Amit Mitra.
Later, he was given a guard of honour by Kolkata police personnel at the Raj Bhavan.
