Bomb on tracks disrupts train services in Kolkata

Suburban train movement was disrupted here for some time on Saturday following the discovery of a bomb on the tracks, an official statement said.

According to a press statement by the Eastern Railway, the bomb was detected near Park Circus following which train movement between Park Circus and Sealdah was suspended for a while.

"Police personnel along with a bomb disposal squad reached the spot and removed the bomb from the track. After the clearance of the track, normal train services resumed," it said.
