A businessman, Gunjan Khemja, was shot dead on Thursday in Hajipur in Bihar, police said.
Khemja, son of Patna's well-known businessman Gopal Khemka, was targeted on way to his factory in Hajipur, about 30 km from Patna, Vaishali Superintendent of Police Manavjit Singh Dhillon said.
"Armed men fired indiscriminately at Gunjan Khemka's vehicle and he died on the spot. His driver was seriously injured," the officer said.
