The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the signing of a MoU with Lebanon for cooperation in the field of agriculture and allied sectors between India and Lebanon.
The MoU will promote understanding of best agricultural practices in the two countries and help in better productivity as well as improved access to global market, the government said in a statement, after a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The agreement will promote the use of innovative techniques for raising production and productivity, boosting food security.
