The Confederation of African Football (CAF) banned Algeria's JS Kabylie from continental competitions for two years, the Algerian Professional Football League (LFP) said on its official website.
This decision was taken following a dramatic event Aug 23 in Tizi Ouzou Stadium, when Cameroon player of JS Kabylie, Albert Ebosse, was killed after being hit by a projectile thrown from stands during the second day of the league game against USM Alger (1-2), reports Xinhua.
Although, JSK finished second in the last season's league, it will not participate in the African Champions League campaign in 2015, due to the CAF sanctions.
The Algerian Football League has also banned JS Kabylie playing at its home stadium for the rest of the season in front of the fans.
