Chinese firm, China Fortune Land Development (CFLD), has proposed to develop an IT Park at Sohna in Gurugram district, a Haryana official said on Friday.
The project will have an investment of Rs 4,000 crore, a state government spokesman said here.
A delegation of CFLD, comprising its president Jerry Zhao and other representatives of the company met Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in New Delhi to discuss the project.
Khattar said that the proposed project would prove to be a milestone in the development of the state and it would generate employment opportunities for youth.
Gurugram district, adjoining national capital New Delhi, has emerged as a big hub for industrial, commercial, software and information technology sectors.
