Eight held in Sri Lanka for trying to flee to New Zealand
At least eight persons were arrested on Friday in Sri Lanka for attempting to flee to New Zealand by boat, police said.
According to police, they were arrested from Negombo on the outskirts of Colombo, Xinhua news agency reported.
Police said they will be produced in a court later on Friday.
