Four mowed down by truck in MP
Four persons were killed and two others seriously injured on Friday when a truck ran over them and ploughed into a roadside eatery in Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.
The accident occurred when the drivers of two trucks along with their helpers were cooking food on the roadside near Lai village on the Narsingpur-Chhindwara National Highway. Three of the dead were from this group.
The truck driver responsible for the accident fled the spot.
