Gold price closes up
The gold price in Hong Kong went up 160 HK dollars to close at 10,860 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to $1,176.27 a troy ounce, up $17.33 at the latest exchange rate of one US dollar to 7.75 HK dollars, Xinhua news agency reported.
