Hot, sunny Sunday in Delhi

India Meteorological Department officials say the temperature will hover around 41 degrees Celsius Sunday, even though the morning saw some clouds.

"The skies will be clear and the afternoon will be hot and sunny," an official said.

Minimum temperature Sunday was a notch below average, at 24.4 degrees Celsius.

Saturday was hot and sunny too, and the maximum temperature settled three notches above average at 42 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was five notches below average for this time of year, at 19.8 degrees.
