Jennifer Lawrence gets 'tough' in 'Serena'

Actress Jennifer Lawrence is seen as a tough lady in a promotional video of her upcoming movie "Serena".

In the video, Lawrence picks up an axe to cut a tree after she spots a man struggling to do the job.

The video of the movie was released Monday, reports eonline.com.

Set in the 1920s, "Serena" is based on a novel with the same name by Ron Rash, and narrates the story of a married couple who builds a timber empire in North Carolina.

The "American Hustle" star sports bob cut in the video.

"Serena", which also stars Bradley Cooper, is scheduled to release Feb 26.
