Kamal Nath to contest Chhindwara Assembly seat
Chief Minister Kamal Nath would contest the Chhindwara Assembly seat in Madhya Pradesh, the Congress announced on Thursday.
Nath, the Lok Sabha member from Chhindwara, took oath as the Chief Minister on December 17, 2018 and has to be elected to the Assembly within six months.
Congress legislator Deepak Saxena resigned from the Assembly to allow Nath contest the by-election in Chhindwara, scheduled on April 29.
