Kerala has limitations in Maudany case: Chandy

"We had written to the Karnataka government and a report was received from them, which was handed over to a team of five doctors here. Once we get their report we will again look into the case. But we have limitations," Chandy told reporters here.
He said the state government received numerous representations from various quarters stating that the health condition of Maudany has turned worse.
Maudany was arrested in August 2010 in connection with the 2008 Bangalore bomb blast. He is lodged in a Bangalore jail for the past 28 months.
After the two Italian marines involved in the shooting of two Indian fishermen off the Alappuzha coast were allowed to return to Italy to celebrate Christmas, the Communist Party of India-Marxist started pressurizing the Kerala government to intervene in the Maudany case.
