Ancy Ali, a 25-year-old student from Kerala who was one of the 50 people killed in the March 15 Christchurch mosques attacks in New Zealand, was buried near here on Monday.
The body arrived at the Kochi International Airport earlier in the day and was taken to her husband's home.
It was then moved to a community hall at Kodungalloor for people to pay their last respects and was then taken for burial.
Ancy was pursuing her post-graduation in Christchurch and was living with her husband Abdul Nassar.
The couple migrated to New Zealand last year.
