Lily Tomlin marries partner of 42 years

Actress-comedian Lily Tomlin married her gay partner Jane Wagner on New Year's Eve. Their representative has confirmed the news.

"They're very happy," eonline.com quoted the representative as saying.

Tomlin opened up about planning a winter wedding in October, saying: "We're talking about it. I think December, I'm off. I have no obligations at the moment."

Wagner is a filmmaker.
