Man kills self in Delhi government dispensary

A 23-year-old sanitation employee Sunday committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan at a government-run dispensary here, police said.

Akash Kumar was found hanging around 12.05 p.m. at the dispensary in Anand Vihar area of east Delhi.

Kumar, a resident of Seemapuri area in east Delhi, was unmarried and working as a sanitation employee in the dispensary.

"The reason behind his extreme step is yet to be ascertained as no suicide note was recovered from his possession," police said.
