One killed, four injured in Kolkata house collapse

A man was killed and four people were grievously injured Thursday when part of a multi-storeyed building collapsed here, police said.

A portion of the building came crashing down in Jamnalal Bajaj Street in Burrabazar area.

Police and disaster management personnel rescued five critically injured people from the debris.

One of the injured was later declared dead in hospital while the condition of two others was said to be very critical, police said.
