New Delhi, April 25 (IANS) It was a partly cloudy morning in the capital Thursday with the minimum temperature settling at 23.2 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season. The weather office has forecast light rain towards the evening.
"Skies will remain cloudy through the day. Light rain may occur in some parts of the city," an official from the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around the 38 degrees Celsius mark, he added.
The city experienced a cloudy but warm day Wednesday. The maximum temperature was 37.4 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year, while the minimum was 22.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below average.
