Punjab National Bank net zooms to Rs 207 crore
The government-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) on Tuesday said it closed the third quarter of the current fiscal with a net profit of Rs 207.18 crore.
In a regulatory filing with BSE, the bank said it has posted a net profit of Rs 207.18 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, as compared to Rs 51.01 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015.
The bank's total income has increased from Rs 13,891.20 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015, to Rs 14,497.65 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016.
