Radical group announces formation of new IS in Arabian peninsula

A radical group that is thought to be affiliated with the Al Qaeda has announced the formation of a new Islamic State (IS) group in the Arabian peninsula, a media report said Saturday.
In its first online statement, the group threatened the Houthi Shias and the Yemeni army, urging Sunnis to stay away from any Houthi gatherings, Egypt's state-run MENA news agency reported.
Addressing the Houthis, the group said that "Sunni blood is precious", and vowed to firmly respond to any attacks on Sunni citizens.
The statement urged the Sunnis to "wake up" and join the jihadis in the face of the Houthis.
Sunnis are strongly advised to stay away from places of gatherings of the Houthis and Yemeni army, the group said. Those places will be targeted by the group, it warned.
