A sum of Rs.3.5 lakh was Wednesday stolen from a car parked outside the ICICI Bank on Ambedkar Road in Ghaziabad.
The police said trader Sandeep alias Deepak withdrew Rs.3.54 lakh from the Punjab National Bank. He parked his car outside the Ambedkar Road branch of ICICI Bank and went to drop a cheque at a branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank.
Upon returning, he found the window pane of his car broken and the bag containing the cash missing.
The victim informed the police who were investigating.
