Six members of a gang were arrested after they fired at a man from a rival group in the Jammu court complex on Tuesday, police said.
Surinder Singh alias Kala was injured in the firing in the afternoon, a police officer said.
Six people, from a rival criminal group, were immediately nabbed, he said. "The firing was the result of gang rivalry."
The pistol was seized, and the injured man taken to hospital for treatment, he said.
