Snowy Kashmir resort on display at R-Day parade

A tableau clad in white, depicting the popular winter sports destination of Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir, was one of the highlights of the Republic Day parade here on Thursday.

The tableau sjpwed the snowy beauty of the Gulmarg, complete with skiing slopes and cable cars.

Gulmarg, situated at an altitude of 2,650 metres, attracts tourists, especially ski lovers, during winter. The resort also hosts an annual snow festival that draws people from across the globe.
