Soldier injured in explosion near LoC

A soldier was injured in a landmine explosion on Sunday near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.

Defence Ministry sources said Havaldar Sendkar Ravsahav was injured near a forward post in Poonch district when he accidentally stepped on a landmine.

"The soldier has been shifted to the Army Hospital in Udhampur town," an official said.
