SSB officer killed, six injured in suspected fratricidal firing

One junior level officer of the Seema Sashastra Bal (SSB) was killed and six troopers were injured in a suspected fratricidal firing incident at an SSB camp near the Jawahar Tunnel in Ramban district on Wednesday.

Police said an Assistant Sub-Inspector of the SSB was killed in the incident that took place near the Jawahar Tunnel in Bannihal area of Ramban district.
