Striker Skriniar joins Inter Milan on five-year contract

Slovakia defender Milan Skriniar joined Inter Milan on Friday, with a five-year contract, from its fellow Italian side Sampdoria.
Skriniar, capped nine times with Slovakia's first team, signed a contract that keeps him at the 18-time Serie A champions until 2022, the club said in a statement, reports Efe.
The defender, 22, was part of the Slovak's squad that lost to Germany at UEFA Euro 2016 and also played in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Poland.
Skriniar, who started his career in Slovak's Zilina, played 35 matches in a one-year stint at Sampdoria, before joining Inter Milan, which ended 7th last season, in its first deal this transfer window.
