Two engineers held in Andaman for taking bribe

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday arrested two engineers working in state-run Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works Ltd here for taking bribes in exchange for granting permission for road construction work.
Acting on a complaint, CBI officers laid a trap and arrested the two, a CBI statement said.
K.S. Raja, a Junior Engineer, and P. Prashant, an Assistant Engineer, were arrested for demanding and taking a bribe of Rs 22,000 each from the complainant, the statement said.
