Venkateswarlu takes over as AIR chief

R. Venkateswarlu has taken over as the new director general of All India Radio, a statement said Friday.

He has an experience of 35 years with the Indian Information Service, and has been with AIR, Doordarshan, and Prasar Bharti in various capacities.
