Vipin Sharma joins Mani Ratnam's 'Kaatru Veliyidai'

Actor Vipin Sharma, most popular for his work in films such as "Taare Zameen Par" and "Dhanak", will be making his Tamil movie debut with filmmaker Mani Ratnam's romantic drama "Kaatru Veliyidai".

"Vipin Sharma has joined the sets in Ooty, and although it is not known yet what role he would be playing, he has already started shooting," a source close to Ratnam told IANS.

Aditi Rao Hydari, who is paired with Karthi in the film, has joined the sets too, the source added.

The initial portions of the film are being shot in Ooty.

Produced by Madras Talkies, the film has music by A.R. Rahman and Ravi Varman cranks the camera.
