Wrestler Sakshi advances at Rio

Indian wrestler Sakshi Malik defeated Sweden's Malin Johanna Mattson 5-4 in the women's Freestyle 58 kilogram qualification match at the Rio Olympics here on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old Indian beat her rival, older by five years, on technical points at the Carioca Arena 2 - MAT B.

She advanced to the 1/8 Finals where she will face Moldova's Mariana Esanu Cherdivara.
