Apropos Subir Gokarn's column "Jobs-olescence" (Muddy Waters, May 5), it is stated everywhere that India will be the next superpower and its massive working-age population is one of the driving factors. The bitter component is the lack of strategies and institutions capable of surviving in this era of competition. There is a need to change our education system, macroeconomic stability and infrastructure, otherwise our human resources will be wasted.
