Raining coins

Business Standard New Delhi
Played the recently released Android game Raining Coins yet? It was literally raining coins at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on Day 2 of the India leg of the International Premier Tennis League. While tennis enthusiasts were queuing into the stadium to catch a glimpse of the top players in the game slugging it out in Delhi, the guards at the entrance made a quick buck by asking everyone to submit any coins they were carrying, besides cigarettes and other inflammable items. Most visitors were caught off-guard and had to wash their hands of loose change that would otherwise add up to quite a lot of money. Where did this money go after the event? No one felt obliged to inform the visitors, who, for their part, seemed more eager to catch a glimpse of Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Sania Mirza on centre court.
