Trinamool's fair play

Left Front Chairman Biman Bose is putting up a brave face ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Expectedly, he is not ready to concede the popular perception that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has an edge in this election with a stronger organisational base in the state. According to him, the TMC is ahead only in terms of putting up more "good-looking" candidates than the Left. Taking a dig at the TMC's long list of celebrity candidates, he said, "Our candidates are surely not as fair and good looking as TMC candidates. But the dark faces have been part of people's movement and will have the people's blessing."
