Ramdev Yadav, CPI(M-L) Liberation town unit secretary died on the spot

A CPI(M-L) Liberation leader was today shot dead by unidentified assailants in Bihar's Bhagalpur district, police sources said.

The armed assailants barged into the CPI(M-L) Liberation town unit secretary Ramdev Yadav's house and fired randomly at him while he was asleep at a locality in University police station area, they said.

Yadav died on the spot, they said, adding that a property-related dispute could be the motive behind the CPI(M-L) Liberation leader's murder.

Later enraged party workers and locals blocked the road with the body. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), City Veena Kumari rushed to the spot.
