Assets of members of the Assam Legislative Assembly who were elected in 2011 have increased substantially over five years. According to the election watchdog Association for Democratic Reform (ADR), based on the sworn affidavits of those MLAs elected in 2011 and are seeking re-election in 2016, the assets of several members of the Legislative Assembly have increased many times in their five-year term. The increase is secular across party lines. Here is a list of the 10 MLAs whose assets have gone up the most dramatically between 2011 and 2016
