Nitin Gadkari , the Union minister for highway boycotted the inaugaration of IIM Nagpur, organised by IIM-Ahmedabad, on Sunday.
According to a Times of India report, the Nagpur MP was furious over lapse in invitation. Gadkari is even mulling a breach of privilege motion against IIM-A authorities.
In the first card, out of the two e-invitation cards that were created, there was no mention of Gadkari's name although he was one of the chief guests while in the second (final) one, his name was below that of IIM-A director Ashish Nanda. The name of chief minister Devendra Fadnavis was at the top in larger and bold font while that of Gadkari in smaller print below, says the report.
The minister was all the more upset because IIM Nagpur came up largely due to Gadkari's efforts.
