It is a herculean task for the department to keep vigil over such vast land to protect it from the encroachment. With the rapid expansion and development, the land is under considerable influence from various quarters of the society. It not only includes the encroachers but also the developers, Realtors, Government agencies and the private individuals. The department is fully aware of the importance of the land in the lives of millions residents of this great city. At the time when the city is turning towards a thick hub of concretization; the role of the complex in terms of “citizen to open spaces ratio” and the Green Cover remains unparallel. In order to further preserve the land, the department, for the long had been under deliberation on evolving all such measures as will not only ensure the development but also preserve the basic objective of preserving and promoting environment.
The prime function of the department of the dairy is to provide the clean and hygienic milk to the citizens at affordable price. Without compromising the basic objective, it has become imperative to consider with an open mind the proposal of the development of the complex.
