The CSE benchmark index CSE-40 rose by 179.37 points during the week. The local bourse had declined 227.41 points last week.
The index opened at 5982.78 and buying support helped the bourse to gain ground. The index finally closed at 6162.15.
Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307.80 and Infosys was up to Rs 2195.60 at close of the week.
Reliance Industries gained to close at Rs 742.05. State Bank of India also followed the trend to close higher at Rs 2004.
Tata Steel was flat at Rs 396.50 at end of the week.
Twenty First Century ended the week at Rs 325.60 while Vindus Holding was at Rs 307.
